TRIP ADVISOR-DAY TWO๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ

Meinong Hakka Culture Museum ★★★★☆

So on the 25th of May, we went to ็พŽๆต“ๅฎขๅฎถๆ–‡็‰ฉ้ฆ†. I would rate it 4/5 stars. The museum exhibited the history of Hakka people in Taiwan, traditional Hakka items like oil paper umbrella and the culture of Hakka people. There was also an interactive station, whereby the sounds of five different Hakka accents was played out with the push of a button. Hence, I found it rather enriching and well displayed.
But it would be more visitor friendly if the museum installed a lift, because elderly people would have difficulty going up the stairs to look at exhibits on higher levels ๐Ÿ˜ž  However, the trip to the museum was enjoyable and enriching and I learnt more about the history of Hakka people in Taiwan ๐Ÿ˜Š
People respect words a lot thus this picture above^

็พŽๆต“ๅฎขๅฎถๆ‘ ★★★★★

After going to ็พŽๆต“ๅฎขๅฎถๆ–‡็‰ฉ้ฆ†, we went to ็พŽๆต“ๅฎขๅฎถๆ‘, where we explored the different stalls selling traditional Hakka items and food/drink. I would rate it 5/5 stars. The village sold traditional ๅฎขๅฎถๆ“‚่Œถ which was different from the one sold in Singapore, so this shows that the Hakka people in Taiwan put in effort to preserve their culture. Also, the place was very big and showcased a lot of items, which made the visiting experience pleasant. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Our first lunch in Meinong.

Kaohsiung museum of history★★★★★
The information was well displayed with figurines ๐Ÿ˜ฆ that allows us to witness what might have happened during the attack by the Japanese and the guide that explained to us did a great job ๐Ÿ‘as we could understand the story about Taiwan and Japan. Therefore I would rate it as 5.

Kaohsiung Hakka cultural museum ★★★☆☆
Kaohsiung Museum of History and the Kaohsiung Hakka cultural museum were about the same as Meinong Hakka Culture museum as all were about the Hakka culture in the past and as for Kaohsiung museum of history we were told about the Japanese invasion in Taiwan.
However I rate it 3 as I did not really understood what was displayed in there.

The former British Consulate★★☆☆
It was a hot day and we had to climb steps to reach there. Many of us bought ice cream๐Ÿฆ before entering the place.
I would rate the place as 3stars as it was a hot day and it was hard to concentrate on what the guide was saying.

Liuhe Night market ★★★★☆
It was smaller than expected and the variety of food was limited. I heard from another classmate that the hawker 'cheated' their money or something. Nevertheless it was a fun experience and I got to play some shooting the bottles down game. The only regret I had was that I didn't get to try ไธ‘่ฑ†่… which most of us bought to try.
